We continue to be humbled by the enthusiasm and commitment of our incredible community following the success of the first-ever Desert Southwest Cup. This event came to life thanks to the dedication of our members, partner clubs, volunteers, and spectators — whether you were in the field, judging, lending a hand behind the scenes, or cheering from the sidelines. Alongside the outstanding bird work that defined the weekend, camaraderie was at the heart of it all. The exceptional dog performances showcased both the refinement of experienced competitors and the promise of rising stars, making it a true celebration of the upland spirit. Congratulations to all who earned ribbons and titles, and a heartfelt thank-you to every volunteer who helped make this event possible.

March 2024 UKC Field Trial
Join us in celebrating the success of our recent UKC Field Trial held on March 9 & 10. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Paulden, AZ, the event was a thrilling weekend of canine camaraderie and outdoor excitement. Attendees were treated to two days filled with the sheer joy of watching UKC pointing dogs showcase their remarkable skills. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event unforgettable!

Bird Dog Training Seminar
EBs of the SW and Trinity Upland Academy hosted a bird dog seminar for our members and guests. From puppy bird intro to advanced finished dog work, the seminar included tips and drills for the DIY trainer.
UKC TAN Test
In May 2023, we hosted a UKC TAN test. The event was a great success with 10 EBs earning their TAN title.

EBs of the SW members have the opportunity to volunteer at the VOTSQF Quail Day. We will have member EBs on display to showcase their lovable demeanor and insatiable bird drive.
